  • As the only UX Designer at Styra, I partnered with our CTO, UX/UI architect, PM and Devs to create designs for new and improved features.

  • Styra are the creators of Open Policy Agent (OPA), a CNCF graduated open source policy engine that was the de facto standard in 2020-2021.  

  • I primarily worked on Styra's Declarative Authorization Service (DAS), a SaaS IDE aimed at DevOps and SecOps teams authoring and managing policies with OPA.

  • A 13 month journey from concept through delivery of Policy Builder, a tool that "uplevels" policy authoring for developers writing policies occasionally and less technical users.
